What you can say
Pandahost puts what a BoredPanda person builds in chat online at
<name>.pandahost.me. This page is written for two readers at once: you, and the
Claude you connected. Say roughly the thing in the left column; it picks the right tool.
One kind of site: an app
An app
Everything you host is an app: plain HTML, CSS, images and JavaScript serve as
files, and a PHP app gets its own SQLite database and a scoped data broker, run for you by the
platform. Made with host this, changed with
edit. host_it
instant-lists and programmatic-lists are apps hosted here. They are not tools
of the connector; nobody can "call" them.
Hosting
host this
Puts what you just made online and replies with its address.
host this privately, only me locks who can view it from the start.
host_it
change the headline
Edits a live file in place, several files as one change, or
put it back how it was. edit
show me that page
Reads a page back, whole or one file. get_site
is anyone opening it?
The last lines of the visit or error log. site_logs
check my page for problems
Opens the live page as a visitor would and lists what is broken, worst first.
Changes nothing. review_site
delete the tea page
Takes it offline after you confirm. delete_site, and
bring it back within 7 days: restore_site
Listing and sharing
what have I got online?
Your own sites, their sizes, the room left. list_sites
what has my team got?
Every site any colleague hosts, who owns it, and whether you may edit it.
list_team_sites. what changed this week?
is team_feed.
let Rasa edit the tea page
Grants or revokes one colleague, or opens it to the whole team.
share_site. what has been shared with me?
is my_shared_sites.
only Ann and Ben can see the tea page
Locks who can open your site: share_site with
add_viewer for each colleague, then set_view invited. It
locks editing too and signs everyone out of it. open it to everyone again
is set_view domain; editing stays locked until team on.
let my bonuses app read my Google Sheet
For your own site that is not public: you open one link, approve Google, pick the files,
and the app reads only those. stop reading my Drive unlinks them.
site_drive
Test tenants (ph-* and plus-addressed aliases) are hidden from every
list by default. If you really want them, say include the test tenants
(include_synthetic: true).
Notes and messages
leave a note on the tea page: fix the date
A note, request or issue on a site. Its owner reads and closes it.
add_note · site_notes ·
resolve_note
tell Rasa the page is ready
A short message to a colleague; their Claude reads it next time it checks.
send_message · inbox
Room and speed
I need more space
Queues a request; a person decides, in a terminal.
ask_more_space
it is too slow
More memory or processor for an app. Same queue, same person.
ask_more_cpu
file 25 MB
site 100 MB
your 10 GB
One file 25 MB, one site 100 MB and 5000 files, everything together 10 GB, 1000
changes an hour, 10 GB of visits a day before a page pauses. Apps get 1 GB and 2 threads.
Who can do what
Editing
Everyone with a boredpanda.com address, by default. The owner can restrict a
site to named people with let ... edit and
team off.
Reading notes
Everyone who can view the site.
Visiting
Everyone signed in with a boredpanda.com address, by default, plus anyone you let
edit. The owner can limit it to named people with only Ann and Ben can
see .... Opening a page to anyone with no sign in is the platform owner's call; until
then it is not on Google.
Big files and whole folders
From a terminal
Three steps. 1: say give me an upload address for the tea
page (upload_url with the name). 2: it prints two
curl -T lines. The single file line sends a file named
index.html; the whole folder line packs a folder into
site.tar.gz and sends that. Run the one that matches, copying only the command
after its label (single file: or whole folder:), and change only
<dir> in the folder line to your folder.
3: say publish the tea page (host_it with
the name and no files).
Chat only
Only when no curl can run. Your Claude sends each file as base64 pieces of
40,000 characters, one per call, each carrying where it starts (its offset) and its
sha256 fingerprint, so a lost or changed piece is refused on the spot and sent again.
The last call publishes. It can take a few exchanges to land; that is normal.
Signing in
Google, company only
@boredpanda.com accounts.
Others are refused before anything opens.
A browser tab opens
Once per connector, then about 90 days. If nothing opens, allow pop-ups for
your chat client and connect again.
Five things people asked today, and what to say
"Run instant lists for me"
It is a hosted app, not a tool. Say show me the instant-lists
site and who owns it.
"Who hosts what?" came back full of ph-something
Those were test tenants; they are hidden now. Say list the
team's real sites.
"Nothing happened"
Some chat clients quietly refuse to send. Say what have I got
online? to see the truth, then say it again.
"It refused, is anything half done?"
No. A refusal changes nothing. Say fix that and try
again.
"I cannot edit Rasa's page"
She restricted it. Say message Rasa: please share the tea
page with me, or ask her to say let ... edit the tea page.
